Marvelously Made Mondays! (RECIPES)

RECIPE TIME!!
We've been out of town for a while so it's definitely time to do some grocery shopping! So I figured why not try out some new recipes. I found this on  http://www.favfamilyrecipes.com/ (the same girl who did the cafe rio Copy cat recipe.) She has a million delicious recipes I want to try! Anyway this one looked so great! I'm definitely going to try it out this week. I'm also trying out AUNT KAREN'S Lasagna recipe, my grandma's Cream of Broccoli cheese soup, navajo tacos, and broccoli casserole! Let me know if you want any of the recipes. I'll let you know how they all turn out. (CAN YOU TELL I"M PREGNANT!! ha ha these are all hearty, comfort foods! Probably not the most figure friendly!) I'll have to eat super healthy for the rest of the day so I can splurge at dinner!
In case anyone was wondering about the cafe rio one a few posts back... it was EXACTLY the same! The only mistake I made was with the Tomatillo ranch I added a kind of large jalapeno and it turned out spicier than usual. But it still tasted the same.

EASY Chicken Roll ups

1-2 cans of canned chicken (or roughly the same amount of shredded chicken)

1 8 oz. package cream cheese

2 Tbsp. milk

salt and pepper to taste

2 cans crescent rolls

2 c. crushed croutons (you can also use the Parmesan Shake n' Bake)

Blend together first four ingredients. Separate crescent rolls into triangles. Spoon chicken into the bottom of the triangle, fold in the bottom corners, and roll up. Lightly roll in melted butter then roll in crushed croutons. Place on un-greased cookie sheet and bake at 350 for 20 min. If desired serve with cream of chicken soup diluted with 1/2 cup milk over the crescent rolls (I also like to add salt, pepper, parsley, cayenne, and curry to the sauce)

P.S.- if you have any recipes post them in the comment section so we can all share them! Plus then I can refer back to them!

oh yum! I'll have to try this one!
foodnetwork.com and yumyum.com have some good recipes that I'll try out when I get back home. Last thing I want to do is buy a bunch of groceries a week before we move out!

What do you think about adding some more illustrations? No offence, blog is really great. But according to the scientists humans acquire information much more efficient when they see certain useful pictures.

Rather nice site you've got here. Thanx for it. I like such themes and everything that is connected to this matter. I would like to read a bit more on that blog soon.
